At Aquanow I moved between the trading platform, onboarding, and the company's first design system. Here, I was able to hop in the journey of translating data-heavy blockchain logic into interfaces non-crypto-native finance teams could trust.

Overview
Giving a live fintech platform the design system it never had.
I joined Aquanow after its initial product was built by an external agency inheriting a trading platform with no shared design foundation. I built the token-based component system that unified the trading platform, onboarding, and Aquapay, and picked up marketing, sales, and dev-facing work whenever other teams needed design support. Earned a full-time return offer during a company-wide hiring freeze.
01 · Trading Platform
A trading interface institutions can actually trust.
Designed the core trading dashboard — order entry, real-time pricing, settlement status, and portfolio views — with a focus on confidence-inducing data visualization. Built the visual language so traders coming from Bloomberg or institutional banks felt at home, not alienated by crypto-native conventions.
02 · Onboarding
Compliance flows that don't punish the user.
Redesigned the KYC and institutional onboarding flow to balance regulatory rigor with first-impression simplicity. Mapped every step of the legal-to-product handoff and surfaced status transparently — so high-value clients knew exactly where their application stood.
03 · Design System
Aquanow's first shared design language.
Built the foundational design system that unified four products under one visual identity. Established type, color, and component standards in Figma, paired with usage guidelines that gave engineers a clear single source of truth — eliminating the design-to-dev handoff chaos common at early-stage startups.
